Sukai is a mom in a big family, her main source of income is from selling (FOGGA JAI) imported used clothes. For many years she depended on this trade and her struggle was obvious because she had to support her Family. Sukai is very supportive of her family. She drinks Ataya (locally brewed Chinese tea)3 to 4 times daily and lacks a systematic saving plan for growing her business and saving.
Buzz Women's, 2 half a day financial literacy program enabled Sukai to double her income and improve her business, by setting up a savings box in her house. She saved any amount possible. From her used clothes business. Two years down the line she was able to open a grocery shop, which flourished to buy herself a taxi to support the family better.
Sukai has always been ambitious and wants to grow. Women like her fuel the energy in our work, and this amplifies when women are supported, they will make informed choices to define their own lives.
